Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort on Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, offers 156 luxury beachfront residences, 222 hotel rooms, and a championship Tom Fazio‑designed golf course among other amenities.
About the role The Director of Golf is responsible for overseeing all golf operations at The Gardens, the Tom Fazio‑designed championship course, while ensuring the highest standards of service, course presentation, programming, and member engagement. This position is a key leader and plays an integral role in delivering an exceptional golf experience for members and guests.
What you will do
Create and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules to support operational needs and business priorities.
Supervise and participate in fertilizer and pesticide applications, ensuring safe and effective practices are followed.
Assist in managing payroll and departmental operating budgets.
Partner with Golf Operations staff to coordinate tournaments, weather-related closures, and special member requests.
Recruit, train, develop, and supervise the golf service team.
Oversee the seeding, fertilization, topdressing, soil conditioning, irrigation, and pest and weed control programs for the golf course and practice facilities.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards related to chemical and fertilizer storage, disposal, employee safety, and public safety.
Work closely with leaders in Golf Maintenance, Residential Services, and Resort Food & Beverage to maximize the overall member experience.

Previous club experience in a comparable leadership role required.
Strong understanding of business principles, financial management, and agronomic practices.
CMAA and/or PGA membership preferred.
Proven planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and career development within the golf industry.
Self‑motivated leader who leads by example and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to analyze and resolve problems while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong administrative and leadership capabilities, including effective verbal and written communication skills.
Possesses a strong sense of urgency and the ability to achieve goals while managing multiple concurrent priorities in a dynamic environment.
