Maison Ellyse is a luxury PR and brand representation agency with a growing presence across the GCC and Europe. We represent an carefully curated portfolio of world-class hotels, resorts, wellness destinations, fine jewellery, fashion and lifestyle brands — connecting them with the right audiences, the right media, and the right moments to build narratives that endure. As we expand our footprint into Europe, we are opening our representative office in Milan and are looking for an exceptional individual to lead it.

The Role

This is a rare and significant opportunity for a seasoned luxury PR professional to plant a flag — not simply fill a position. As the Director, you will be the founding presence of Maison Ellyse in Italy responsible for establishing the agency's reputation in the Italian market and across key European territories, building client relationships from the ground up, and positioning Maison Ellyse as the partner of choice.

You will work in close collaboration with the CEO and Group Director based in Dubai and Riyadh.

What You Will Do

Spearhead the launch and operational setup of the Maison Ellyse Milan office

Develop and execute PR and communications strategies for a portfolio of luxury clients spanning hospitality, fine jewellery, fashion, beauty, and watches — ensuring every narrative is crafted with precision, cultural intelligence, and the editorial quality that luxury demands.

Build and maintain deep, productive relationships with top-tier media, editors, journalists, stylists, and content creators across Italy, France, the Benelux, Switzerland, Monaco, and key surrounding European markets.

Identify and develop new business opportunities — actively growing the Maison Ellyse client roster in Europe through strategic prospecting, pitching, and relationship cultivation. ( Mandatory)

Represent Maison Ellyse at key industry events, press previews, brand launches, trade fairs, and luxury gatherings across the region — serving as the agency's face and voice in the European luxury landscape.

Manage influencer and tastemaker partnerships, coordinating curated activations, press trips, and brand experiences that generate meaningful coverage and long-term brand equity for clients.

Collaborate closely with the GCC team to deliver seamlessly integrated, cross-market campaigns that connect European and Middle Eastern luxury audiences.

Provide regular reporting, insights, and strategic counsel to the CEO and Group Director on market trends, media shifts, and new opportunities in the European luxury space.

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in luxury PR and communications, with a demonstrable track record across at least two or more of the following sectors: luxury hospitality, fine jewellery, haute horlogerie, fashion, or beauty and fragrance.
• Deep, established media relationships in luxury and lifestyle press landscape — and ideally across broader European markets as well.
• Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, with the organisational rigour and creative vision to deliver at the highest standard across all of them.
• A genuine entrepreneurial mindset — someone who is energised by the challenge of building something from scratch, who takes ownership naturally, and who thrives in an environment where initiative is not just welcomed but expected.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials, pitch letters, brand narratives, and strategic documents in both languages.
• A refined personal aesthetic and a natural affinity for the world of luxury — someone who lives and breathes the culture they represent.
• Experience working within or alongside international agencies, and comfort navigating the nuances of cross-cultural client relationships, particularly between European and Middle Eastern luxury markets, is highly valued.
