Overview
A great opportunity to join as Director of Rooms at a luxury 5-star hotel in Rome. Experience required: 3-5 years in a similar management role in a well-structured hotel chain, preferably in Italy. Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages preferred. The role is intended for ExCom. The Director of Rooms will report to the General Manager and the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage Front Office (approximately 30 staff), Housekeeping (approximately 20 staff), and Reservations (approximately 4 staff).
Qualifications
- Minimum a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, plus four years of guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than five yearsexperience in a similar hotel operations role is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are preferred.
- Strict adherence to LQA standards.
- EU work permit.
