Driveline Technical Project Leader

In this role you will lead driveline projects from requirements to Start of Production, ensuring performance, cost, quality and reliability targets. You will work with the Vehicle Chief Engineer, platform teams, and suppliers to translate vehicle needs into driveline technical targets. You’ll coordinate cross-functional engineering activities and guide technical reviews, supporting design-to-cost and industrialization efforts. This is a global, collaborative role shaping high-impact driveline solutions for agriculture and construction applications. Savings & Retirement benefits Parental leave Adoption assistance Fertility & Family building support Lead driveline projects from requirements definition through Start of Production Monitor schedules, open technical issues and risk mitigation actions Represent the DVL team in meetings with internal customers Translate customer/vehicle needs into driveline technical targets with feasibility feedback Plan and coordinate engineering activities across architecture, simulation, mechanical design, hydraulics, electronics and software Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet requirements, performance, and timing Support industrialization with manufacturing teams and supplier interactions Lead technical discussions with suppliers to align on drawings, design intent and validation plans Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background Fluent English (written and spoken) Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems and Engineering BOM systems Experience with manufacturing processes for transmission or driveline components Knowledge of DFMEA, Design Review, Design to Cost and structured problem-solving methods Proven experience in technical project management Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to manage priorities, risks, and technical issues in a complex project environment
