Oratio is currently building its e‑commerce channel from the ground up as a strategic pillar of its direct-to-consumer growth. This is a unique opportunity to join the brand at a pivotal moment and play a central role in shaping and launching its digital presence.
The Role
The E‑commerce Manager will be a key figure in the launch and development of Oratio’s e‑commerce business. This role goes beyond day‑to‑day management: it requires strategic vision, entrepreneurial mindset, and hands‑on execution to define the structure, processes, and performance of o-ratio.com from its early stages.
The successful candidate will build the foundations of the online channel while ensuring that the digital experience fully reflects Oratio’s values, aesthetic standards, and luxury positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the launch of Oratio’s e‑commerce platform
- Define the e‑commerce strategy, operating model, and roadmap , from launch to scale
- Oversee platform configuration, catalogue structure, product merchandising, content, and user experience
- Coordinate collection launches, product drops, and seasonal campaigns online
- Drive online sales performance , conversion rate optimization, and average order value
- Establish KPI frameworks and monitor performance (traffic, conversion, revenue, retention)
- Continuously improve the customer journey , from discovery to post‑purchase
- Work closely with logistics and customer care to optimize order fulfillment and returns processes
- Ensure brand consistency and luxury standards across all digital touchpoints
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and best practices in luxury e‑commerce
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in e‑commerce or digital roles , ideally within luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Proven experience in launching, scaling, or restructuring an e‑commerce business
- Strong understanding of DTC models and international online retail
- Hands‑on experience with e‑commerce platforms and analytics tools
- Strong analytical skills combined with aesthetic sensitivity and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously in a growing organization
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Priority will be given to candidates residing or domiciled in Milan and its province

Selection Process
