Job Description:
Join our team and take a leading role in defining and driving the end-to-end quality strategy for connected coffee machines and their digital ecosystem. You will ensure alignment and consistency across multiple teams and partners, covering machine connectivity, digital capabilities, AWS IoT–based cloud services, mobile applications, and collaboration with customer service and support processes within the connectivity domain.
Your Missions:
- Define and own the end-to-end (E2E) quality and testing strategy across the ecosystem.
- Establish and document E2E testing scope, test quality KPIs, and quality expectations, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
- Clarify quality ownership between digital teams, Machine R&D teams, and external partners.
- Coordinate the overall E2E testing scope across teams and partners.
- Review and consolidate test strategies and reports into a single E2E quality view.
- Identify and address gaps between component-level testing and real end-to-end behaviour.
- Lead E2E testing involving physical coffee machines, performing hands-on testing as needed.
- Define pragmatic testing approaches, combining manual, scenario-based, and lab testing.
- Drive a realistic roadmap towards increased automation, considering hardware limitations.
- Coordinate the availability, allocation, and usage of coffee machines required for E2E testing across labs.
- Contribute from early phases of new machine and platform development, focusing on testability, customer support, and maintainability.
- Support change management and release decisions with E2E quality and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance and IT security considerations are integrated into E2E quality practices.
- Collaborate closely with customer service and support teams, using field issues and customer feedback to improve E2E test scenarios and digital quality.
- Contribute to improving digital support content, including generative AI tools, based on customer feedback.
- Define and track test and quality KPIs, such as FOTA success rate, pairing success rate, pairing time, connectivity stability indicators, and E2E defect escape rate after release.
Your Profile:
- Experience in end-to-end quality and testing for complex, distributed systems.
- Experience with connected devices, IoT, or hardware-dependent products.
- Experience with hands-on testing of physical devices.
- Experience with generative AI tools.
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- English fluent. Additional languages are a plus.
- You demonstrate strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- You demonstrate a structured mindset and the ability to bring clarity and alignment in fragmented environments.
- You demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Open to hybrid work on Milan or Turin once at week
