Offer Description The candidate should have experience in social research applied to development cooperation, evaluation processes of programs, policies, and interventions in African contexts (Kenya and Tanzania). Skills in field qualitative research, analysis of social and institutional change processes, and critical understanding of territorial, community, and organizational dynamics related to international cooperation. Knowledge of contemporary approaches to evaluation research, participatory methods, theory-based evaluation, adaptive learning, and methodologies sensitive to the complexity of social systems. Experience in designing and managing research in multicultural contexts, coordinating with local and international stakeholders, using monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools, facilitating participatory processes, and managing partnerships with universities, NGOs, and local institutional actors in East Africa.
Candidates will be evaluated comparatively based on the following elements: a) quality, originality, and innovativeness of the project proposal, with reference to the research program under selection; Points 15 b) relevance and significance of previously carried out research activities, as well as any work experience, in relation to the contents of the research program under selection; Points 30 c) relevance of attached publications to the research program under selection; Points 15 d) interview aimed at assessing suitability for carrying out the research activity under the contract and for implementing the submitted project proposal, as well as evaluating knowledge of English and/or other languages relevant to the research. Points 40. Any additional qualifications: Knowledge of English at B2 level Knowledge of Swahili.
