Descrizione dell'offerta
We're looking for an ECU Integration Engineer (MCU Software Integration Engineer) to join a high-performing Software Engineering organisation within a major global automotive OEM. The role sits at the heart of vehicle software delivery — owning the integration strategy, CI/CD framework, and build verification processes across body control, propulsion, and infotainment domains, with software running on Classic AUTOSAR and broader system services.
- Contract type: Permanent or freelance
- Benefits: Competitive package; high-visibility role within a large-scale software transformation programme
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the SW integration strategy for vehicle software releases across key domains.
- Integrate application software with underlying basic software services and configure/generate the AUTOSAR RTE.
- Build and maintain the CI/CD and automation framework (e.g. TeamCity).
- Develop and execute build verification test cases and analyse results, including root-cause analysis of defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full software development lifecycle — from requirements through to functional validation.
- Support and contribute to BSW, memory, and stack configuration activities.
- Apply SOA design principles and contribute to diagnostics (DEM) design.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline (Master's preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with Classic AUTOSAR integration and architecture.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python development.
- Experience with Vector Tools (DaVinci Configurator & Developer) and Trace32/Lauterbach debug tooling.
- Familiarity with vehicle network protocols — Ethernet/SOME-IP, CAN, and LIN.
- Knowledge of model-based system engineering and the V-model software lifecycle.
- Familiarity with virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of functional safety tools, ASPICE, or cryptographic protocols is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
