About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to join our rotating equipment team, who will perform the following main tasks:

• Design and development of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) engineering for rotating machinery projects (fans/compressors).
• Technical meetings with clients and suppliers, including on-site visits necessary to define E&I equipment and drive systems.
• Creation of P&ID, electrical, pneumatic, and other diagrams for equipment and systems, as well as the development of improvements and modernization proposals to existing standards, using internal IT tools.
• Technical coordination of external design firms commissioned by the company for detailed studies and execution drawings.
• Selection of appropriate components and in-depth evaluation of issues related to the equipment and systems involved.
• Preparation of procurement, inspection, and testing specifications and schedules for materials forming part of E&I and drive systems.
• Technical supervision during assembly, testing, and commissioning of equipment and systems, both in Italy and abroad.
• Support to the sales department in identifying and budgeting for E&I equipment and systems to be included in customer quotations.
• Specialist assistance to our foreign subsidiaries.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation design
• Familiarity with regulations related to Oil & Gas projects in classified areas (e.g., ATEX)
• Ability to read and draft P&ID diagrams
• Proficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawing
• Knowledge of process measurement instrumentation
• Good english command
