Electrical Design & Construction Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design & Construction Manager responsible for the coordination, design, and construction supervision of electrical and special systems (ELV, Fire Detection, Security, BMS) across a variety of international projects. The role will focus on ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

The position will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical systems within complex design & build projects, acting as a key technical reference for both internal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute to the integration of multidisciplinary design solutions, ensuring consistency between engineering, execution, and overall project objectives. The role will also support the development of high-performing teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, methodologies, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of electrical and special systems, ensuring compliance with international standards and safety regulations.


• Prepare technical and economic documentation, develop cost estimates, and define project budgets for both public and private tenders.


• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and external consultants to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project development.


• Support the selection of MEP subcontractors, monitor site activities, and assist in the operational direction and final testing of systems.


• Promote and implement the use of advanced digital technologies and BIM methodologies to enhance performance, efficiency, and sustainability across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.


• Proven experience of at least 10 years in the design and management of electrical systems, with a strong focus on site coordination, preferably within complex Design & Build environments.


• In-depth knowledge of power distribution, lighting design, and special systems (ELV), combined with solid expertise in technical and economic analysis, including progress payment statements (SAL) and variation management.


• Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
