AGCO is seeking a talented Electrical & Electronic Technician to join our Engineering Department. This role is ideal for a skilled technician interested in working on full-vehicle combine harvesters within a flexible, team-based engineering and prototyping environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in installing, diagnosing, and validating electrical and electronic systems on combines, headers, and test equipment. You will support prototype builds, electrical architecture modification on machines in an on‑site environment.
Your Impact Perform high‑quality electrical and electronic installation, wiring, and troubleshooting on prototype combines and agricultural systems to support engineering builds and product development programs.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring harness drawings, and technical documentation to execute accurate system assembly and modification.
Install, route, and connect electrical harnesses, sensors, ECUs (controllers), and electronic components, ensuring proper functionality and test readiness.
Diagnose electrical and electronic system issues on prototype machines using diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and software.
Collaborate closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams to build, test, and refine electrical and electronic systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Support in‑house testing and validation activities, ensuring systems meet engineering requirements and quality standards.
Your Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems on agricultural equipment, automotive, heavy machinery, or similar systems in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
High school diploma or equivalent with strong electrical and electronic technical skills relevant to equipment integration and maintenance.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
Experience with CAN bus or diagnostic tools is considered a plus.
Proficiency in Italian; English is a plus.
