Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Technical ownership of electrical parts from concept, design, process and technology standpoints.
  • Responsible for electrical components / module design aligned with modularization mission: assure component commonalities across product families and identify standardization opportunities according to the product and technological road map.
  • Electrical design of projects observing required specifications and quality, respecting costs and timing.
  • Maintain electrical component overview (technical attributes, cost model and quality data) for internal production, ongoing projects, and benchmarking.
  • Contribute to the definition of the electrical part of the product specifications, in cooperation with mechanical design.
  • Support product development design in following applicable safety standards.
  • Analyze products and processes connected to the project.
  • Support the Laboratory for certifications and analysis of applicable certification standards.
  • Operate following the Electrolux Project Development Process.
  • Collaborate with Laboratory, Prototype workshop, and Electronics to manage realization and optimization of technical solutions (optimizing design for manufacturing and design to cost).
  • Dialogue with suppliers and Purchasing Team to define components according to Electrolux Professional Strategy.
  • Teamwork with factory, quality and reliability laboratory for complete qualification of new components.
  • Support product care for analyzing product modifications and special product executions.
  • Support root cause analysis of quality improvements (internal processes and field).
  • Documentation quality for BOM editing, technical documentation and technical support.

Education

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

  • Specialist in electrical circuit and parts design.

Technical Skills

  • Electrical circuits and parts.
  • Components test and validation knowledge.
  • Team spirit and communication skills, share information with group.
  • Good knowledge of CATIA software for drawing.
  • Knowledge of international safety standards.

Languages Required

  • Italian and English

Soft Competencies

  • Ability in teamwork and communication skills, share information with group.
  • Creative.
  • Proactive, takes initiative.

Preferred Career Experience

  • Few years of experience in development of electrical circuits and parts with use of CATIA and E-Plan software in product development for mass production.
