Electrical Engineer – High-Tech / Industrial ProjectsLocation: Agrate Brianza, ItalyEmployment Type: Full-timeAn international engineering organisation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary design team delivering electrical engineering solutions for high-technology, industrial and manufacturing facilities.The successful candidate will support the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, controls and grounding. This role will provide exposure to complex engineering projects and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design of electrical systems for high-technology facilities, cleanrooms, manufacturing and institutional projects.Prepare electrical engineering calculations including equipment sizing, feeder sizing and equipment selection.Develop electrical design documentation, layouts, power diagrams and system controls.Coordinate with mechanical, structural and other engineering disciplines to ensure design requirements are incorporated.Provide technical input into electrical engineering studies and design activities.Assist with conceptual, preliminary and detailed design development.Support the production of construction documentation and technical deliverables.Coordinate with project teams, clients and other design offices.Contribute to developing efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions.Provide technical support and assistance to junior team members.Undertake additional engineering duties as required.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Basic understanding of electrical codes and industry standards applicable to industrial and manufacturing facilities.Experience or understanding of electrical system design and engineering calculations.Ability to interpret and produce electrical design documentation.Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, project teams and client representatives.Self-motivated, proactive and collaborative approach.Ability to mentor and support junior engineers.DesirableConsulting engineering experience.Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination.NCEES Record.Experience with Autodesk Building Systems or similar electrical design software.Experience working on high-technology, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or industrial projects.
