Overview
We are looking for a motivated Electrical Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting the daily technical operations of the Electrical Department across our fleet. In this dynamic role, you will be at the heart of our Asset Management processes, helping to manage and optimise the systems and software that keep our vessels running efficiently. You’ll work closely with shipboard and shoreside teams, coordinating training on asset management systems and ensuring crew and office staff are fully equipped to operate them effectively.
You’ll also act as a trusted support to senior superintendents, stepping in to review and approve requests and purchase orders when needed, ensuring continuity during critical periods such as surveys, dry docks, and leave.

Impact
- Manage new item encoding requests from ship and office in liaison with the Asset Management team.
- Manage new equipment encoding requests from ship and office in liaison with the Asset Management team.
- Support the ship’s superintendents on planning and execution of the Planned Maintenance System, ensuring maintenance costs are managed within agreed budgets and financial approvals.
- Prepare and dispatch performance, maintenance, cost, shipment and quality assurance reports across the department and organization.
- Coordinate training on the Asset Management software system for crew members and office employees with the ship’s superintendents.
- Approve requests and purchase orders on behalf of the ship’s superintendents during their out‑of‑office periods (surveys, dry docks, holidays).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent.
- Experience working as a 3rd ETO / Electrical Engineer or higher on cruise ships.
Essential Skills
- Good knowledge of the English language required; second language is a plus.
- Available to work full time, 5 days per week, from the office at Le Torri, Genoa.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
