Electrical Test Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Tester – Data Center Projects (Europe, Rotation-Based)

A leading engineering company is currently seeking experienced Electrical Testers to join expanding testing teams on Data Center projects across Europe . The successful candidates will be part of an on-site QA/QC team , reporting to the Lead QA representative on location.

This is a site-based role , located on various projects across Europe, operating on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation . Due to travel requirements, a valid EU passport is essential . While visa sponsorship is not available, flights from airports across Europe will be provided for rotational travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Pre-Test Inspections (walkdowns) of field installations and prepare defect reports in line with national electrical regulations.
• Inform the Project Manager and QC Lead of any non-conformances or safety hazards identified on site.
• Perform testing of Low Voltage (LV) electrical installations in accordance with national and international standards.
• Verify Redlined Drawings for the LV systems under test.
• Update cable schedules to reflect any changes made during testing.
• Complete Test Record Sheets in line with client and international requirements.
• Assist in torquing LV cables post-testing.
• Support the resolution and close-out of project-related issues, investigations, or queries .

Requirements:

• A recognised Electrical Testing qualification .
• Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Low Voltage systems and relevant regulations (including International Standards).
• Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical drawings and cable schedules .
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills during testing procedures.
• A valid EU passport and willingness to work abroad on a rotational basis.
