Electromagnetic Design Engineer

In this role you will drive electromagnetic design and optimization of diverse motor technologies. You will work within the Electric Motor Department to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You’ll tackle design challenges across different motor types and use advanced tools to validate concepts. This position offers a meaningful impact on product performance and scalability in a culture that values innovation and teamwork. Electromagnetic design of asynchronous, synchronous reluctance, permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance, and permanent magnet motors Develop and use internal calculation software (Excel, MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, MotorCAD, Altair) Support Application Engineering Team on opportunities evaluation Assist the validation team Support Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on process development Support Purchasing on validation of new/alternative materials Master in Engineering 3 years of progressive experience in a similar role (automotive field a plus) Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) Technical background in electrical/electronic products (rotating electrical machine)
