Responsibilities
As a Component Engineer/Electronic, you actively contribute to Engineering activities. Further on, you will support local electronic development with commissioning, verification and validation activities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Find and evaluate new or 2nd Source Components based on given constraints
- Maintain and feed our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System with electronic components and complete electronic designs
- Commission and verify electronic circuits for HVAC applications.
- Closely align with Component Engineering and other electronic engineers
- Follow the established Product Creation Process and Development methodology and the relevant procedures and work instructions.
Your Profile
The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or similar in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Component Engineering, knowing the unique characteristics of component manufacturers, distributors and EMS in globally produced high-volume products
- Interest and enthusiasm for PLM management and maintenance activities
- Hands on experience in analog and digital circuit design as well as embedded systems including field bus.
- Proactive and self-organized presence paired with strong communication skills
- Structured working style and experience collaborating with colleagues at different locations
- Excellent English skills for effective communication in an international environment
- German skills appreciated
