Electronics HW PCB Designer

Secheron Hasler Italia is seeking an Electronics HW PCB Designer to join its dynamic hardware development team. The selected candidate will work closely with the R&D Hardware Manager, contributing to the design and development of electronic railway devices, with a particular focus on PCB design.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with internal guidelines and product hardware requirements, including DFM/DFT considerations
2. Creation of PCBA layouts and collaboration with hardware designers and PCB suppliers
3. Maintenance and updating of the electronic component library in line with company procedures
4. Coordination with mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic and mechanical components
5. Preparation of electrical schematics and PCBA documentation

Requirements

1. Technical diploma in electronics or electronic engineering degree
2. 1-2 years of experience in electronic hardware design, preferably in automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, or railway sectors
3. Knowledge of drawing standards and techniques, with the ability to interpret design guidelines (preferably IPC standards)
4. Proficiency in PCB layout and schematic entry tools (e.g., OrCAD, Mentor, Altium)
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Team-oriented and goal-driven mindset
7. Good command of English (written and spoken)
8. Solid IT skills
