Role Purpose
Lead and provide expertise in computer vision and time series analysis, agentic AI and the full AI spectrum. The role designs and implements cutting‑edge models that align with company objectives and integrate seamlessly into broader product ecosystems. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement state‑of‑the‑art computer vision and time series analysis models while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Ensure that the developed models are optimized and ready for deployment in various environments, particularly on edge devices. Stay current with the latest methodologies in machine learning, AI, and data science to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements. Design and test AI models and AI agents in real‑world and challenging conditions as part of European funded projects. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand needs and integrate AI‑based solutions, ensuring scalability, robustness, and efficiency for deployment. Continuously learn and apply the latest techniques to operational challenges. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics, or related fields (Ph.D. is a plus). Expert‑Senior level with 4–10 years of professional experience in AI. Proven track record of leading or mentoring junior team members. Technical Skills
Proficiency in computer vision, time series analysis, and AI. Demonstrable expertise in edge device deployment. Python libraries: PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT. Experience in C, C++, Rust, Go (plus). Experience in LaTeX (plus). Experience in MLOps and version control with Git (mandatory). Experience with Docker/Singularity. Knowledge of the aeronautical world and deployment on aeronautical systems is a strong plus. Experience in optimization and operational research (plus). Languages
English – Full professional proficiency. Italian – A plus. Soft Skills
