ELI - Avionic Subsystem Engineer

Job Description:We are seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and validation of advanced EW solutions for airborne platforms. The role focuses on system-level engineering, signal analysis, SW solution and integration within complex avionics architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design and development of Electronic Warfare systems at system and subsystem levelSupport integration and verification of EW systems with avionics and mission systemsSupport integration and verification of EW system on ground and inflight at helicopter levelCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, system engineering)Participate in system reviews, documentation, and technical trade-off analysesEnsure compliance with performance, safety, and reliability requirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Electronic, Electric, Telecommunication or Automation Engineering; Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering)Knowledge of RF systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing;knowledge of Real Time Safety Critical Embedded SW development aspects;SW design and development methodologies (Model Based design, Matlab/Simulink modeling and testing)knowledge of C/C++ programming languagesFamiliarity with avionics or complex embedded systemsAnalytical mindset and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in team-based, technical environmentsGood knowledge of spoken and written EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience with Electronic Warfare or sensor systemsKnowledge of modeling and simulation toolsUnderstanding of system integration and verification activitiesFamiliarity with requirements management toolsProject management skillsStrong problem solving capabilities and proactive customer satisfaction approachTeam working and leading in a cross-functional and geographical teamInclination to work in line with standards, rules and objectivesThorough understanding of the entire software development life-cycleInterest in Human Machine Interface (HMI) aspectsSeniority:New GraduatePrimary Location:IT - Varese - Cascina CostaContract Type:PermanentHybrid Working:Hybrid
