Embedded Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with hardware engineers to define firmware requirements and specifications, and support the development and maintenance of firmware for our Tech Air products.
  • Build scalable, robust and secure firmware solutions while performing code reviews and software testing to ensure desired functionality and performance.
  • Participate in debugging activities and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our software development process and support the delivery of firmware‑related technical documentation.
  • Keep up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and industry trends within the embedded software sphere.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in firmware development using C language within embedded systems.
  • Proven working experience with STM32 microcontroller family, STM32 IDEs, and knowledge of its structure and memory organization.
  • Experience with real‑time operating systems (RTOS) for embedded firmware.
  • Knowledge of sensors, related software and hardware, and main communication protocols (I²C, SPI, CAN Bus, UART and USB).
  • Experience with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscope.
  • Basic cybersecurity best practices knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and excellent cross‑functional collaboration expertise.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Availability to travel occasionally.
