Embedded Software Engineer

TXT e-Tech Srl , part of the TXT Group , is looking for a candidate that fit in a role as Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop software for navigation systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Analysis of configuration files for existing systems;
• Software development using C/C++ in a Linux environment;
• Implementation tasks: releasing and integrating source/executable code into the project version control system;
• Integration tasks: issuing test reports;
• Drafting technical documentation.

Essential Technical Skills

• Knowledge of the C and C++ programming languages;
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system;
• Knowledge of network programming;
• Knowledge of and ability to resolve issues related to automated controls.

Optional Technical Skills

• Experience in real-time embedded development;
• Knowledge of Python;
• Knowledge of IBM DOORS;
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink;
• Knowledge of the Eclipse development environment.

Soft Skills

• Problem solving;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Willingness to travel.

Education

• Degree in Aerospace engineering or computer science
