In this role you own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer advocacy, identifying authentic narratives that demonstrate Cisco's business impact, accelerate deal velocity. You build trusted relationships across customer organizations to understand their challenges, innovations and achievements, and spotlight how Cisco enables their success. You translate insights into compelling multi-format customer stories for diverse audiences. You partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product to ensure customers have channels to share their stories, acting as the strategic advocate to drive measurable impact on deals and market position.
Develop and run multi-month storytelling programs for global customers, from strategy to content launch across channels
Manage customer storytelling projects aligned to Sales, Product, and Marketing priorities
Conduct deep-dive research on each customer relationship to identify differentiating story angles
Advise on which customers can credibly support go-to-market initiatives, acting as liaison to Sales, Product, and Marketing
Lead storytelling activation for regional Cisco Live events, including recruitment, interviews, content development, and on-site support
Track and maintain customer contacts, implementations, and storytelling engagements in the advocate management platform
Measure content effectiveness against digital marketing KPIs
Forecast budget needs and manage spend in compliance with financial policies
7+ years in customer-facing roles, preferably in customer marketing, advocacy programs, or B2B storytelling
Experience in fast-paced, technical environments (enterprise networking, infrastructure, AI, Cloud, or DevOps)
Proven ability to build and execute advocacy strategies that support sales and marketing objectives
Exceptional writing, editing, and interviewing skills with ability to synthesize technical data into engaging narratives
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple high-visibility initiatives and stakeholders
Passion for the voice of the customer and its impact on business success
Thrives in dynamic environments and works well independently and in teams
Proactive in seeking feedback to meet high standards and comfortable tackling new challenges
