Program Overview

Join our Engineering and Technology team. The ASPIRE Emerging Talent development program accelerates the careers of recent graduates and entry‑level professionals over a two‑year period. The program starts in August and spans 7 independent functional tracks. The ASPIRE Engineering & Technology track is designed for highly motivated engineering talent with a passion for technology, innovation, and a drive to deliver technical excellence and develop leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in intentional and structured career development activities and receiving active coaching and mentoring.
  • Completing formal training in engineering and technology courses essential to Baker Hughes Engineers and relevant for ASPIRE and the business.
  • Networking globally and cross-functionally, leading program initiatives or projects with peers, and interacting with global business leaders cross-functionally.
  • Solving critical business challenges through cross-functional, mission-based teams.
  • Participating in international experiences and assignments.

Qualifications

  • Have a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Control, Chemical, Energy, or related Engineering Disciplines, or have equivalent knowledge or up to 3 years work experience maximum.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence.
  • Internship in any of the technical areas (Engineering preferred) or related equivalent experience.
  • Passion for engineering with strong technical attitude and an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Geographically mobile (locations may vary).
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying without company sponsorship.

As desired characteristics you will demonstrate effective written and oral communication, integrity, critical thinking/analytical skills, agility/flexibility, a continuous learning mindset, a high “say-do” ratio (execute on your commitments), teamwork and collaboration, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, drive for results, and initiative.

Working Flexibility

In this role, we can confidently offer flexible working patterns. Depending on your assignment rotation, you may have occasions to work remotely. Smart Working option available.
