About the Role
We are currently looking for an Energy Management & Industrial Decarbonization Specialist who will be based in Alba (CN). This position plays a role in shaping and executing the Group’s decarbonization roadmap, supporting strategic investment decisions and operational implementation across multiple industrial sites globally (20+ sites) aligned with the SBTi‑approved target of
-50% CO2 emissions by 2030 .
Main Responsibilities
Drive industrial decarbonization and support strategic energy investments across a global manufacturing network.
Identify and implement high‑impact solutions, balancing CO₂ reduction with CAPEX and OPEX optimization.
Develop solid business cases, financial models and technical assessments to support decision‑making.
Oversee projects end‑to‑end, from feasibility analyses—including Zero Emission Studies—to execution, commissioning and performance validation.
Coordinate activities across more than 20 industrial plants worldwide, including on‑site visits and onboarding of new plants by evaluating energy baselines and identifying decarbonization opportunities.
Contribute to governance and stakeholder management processes, leading or supporting investment approval cycles with senior stakeholders.
Prepare business plans, CAPEX proposals and related investment documentation, ensuring alignment with Finance budgeting, tracking and financial compliance.
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Energy and Legal to support CAPEX projects and long‑term agreements, including contracts with a 10‑15 year horizon.
Participate in tender processes, define technical requirements and engage with external partners, exploring alternative financing models including incentive scouting.
Promote adoption of energy‑efficiency policies across industrial sites, support local teams in identifying projects, preparing CAPEX requests and executing initiatives.
Monitor and validate project performance and achieved savings, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery of tangible results in line with decarbonisation targets.
About You
Master’s Degree in Engineering (Energy, Mechanical, Electrical or related).
Proven experience in energy, utilities or decarbonisation projects, with financial analysis and CAPEX project‑management skills.
Experience operating effectively in multi‑site or international industrial settings, with understanding of energy systems, cogeneration and decarbonisation technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian and English, able to influence stakeholders in complex organisations.
Flexibility and openness to business travel (30%).
What we offer The role is classified at Level Quadro 1S under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €50,083. The compensation package also includes an annual variable component with a target of up to 10% of base salary. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills and qualifications of the selected candidate.
