Role Description
The Billing / QS Engineer will be responsible for managing quantity take-offs, contractor billing, and cost tracking for ongoing projects. The role involves ensuring accuracy in measurements, financial control, and proper documentation of project costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Verify contractor measurements and process billing
- Track project costs, variations, and budget utilization
- Assist in tendering processes and vendor evaluation
- Maintain project cost records, reports, and documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in billing/quantity surveying (preferably in real estate/construction projects)
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost estimation
- Experience in contractor billing and measurement verification
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant billing/estimation software
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
