Experteer Overview
In this role you drive planning and schedule governance for complex projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company standards. You will lead planning activities, develop baseline and detailed schedules, and coordinate with the Project Control Manager. You’ll run risk analyses, monitor deviations, and support cost control and procurement efforts. This is an opportunity to shape project delivery and work with cross‑functional teams in a demanding environment. Responsibilities
Set guidelines for the planning team and implement project control tools Prepare comprehensive planning procedures (WBS, schedules, progress measurement) aligned with contract requirements and standards Develop planning documents (Execution Plan, Milestones Plan, 90 days Schedule, WBS, Baseline Plans, etc.) and ensure consistency Lead planning workshops and interactive sessions focusing on WBS, scheduling, and risk analysis Define planning outputs and reviews to ensure quality and client alignment Oversee Baseline Planning Package development and track deviations from baseline Monitor manhour expenditure and productivity trends Coordinate cross‑functional reviews and support decision making with project stakeholders Verify subcontractors’ schedules and milestones for compliance Perform Schedule Risk Analysis and participate in risk sessions to assess reliability Identify delay events and quantify time impact for management decisions Assist Cost Control with invoicing back‑ups and look‑ahead cost projections Support Procurement/Logistics in analyzing material delivery times Evaluate Subcontractor bids for planning compliance; lead Site Planning Team Collect project data for Close‑out reports and Lessons Learned database Lead planning activities onsite in coordination with the Project Control Manager Develop subcontractor Level 3 & 4 schedules and progress curves to meet milestones Ensure data collection for future database development and project close‑out Requirements
Experience in project planning and scheduling for engineering/construction projects Strong knowledge of WBS, scheduling concepts, and progress measurement Ability to run Schedule Risk Analysis and manage critical paths Coordination with cross‑functional teams including Cost Control and Procurement Experience leading planning teams and workshops Knowledge of subcontractor scheduling and project milestones Analytical thinking and ability to interpret data and produce reports Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Benefits
