Job Description


  • Organize the Technical Department by allocating responsibilities based on team members' skills and competencies, analyzing market trends and customer needs in order to anticipate technical requirements and promote the development of new engineering solutions.

  • Define engineering design methods and processes to ensure operational efficiency and optimize engineering hours per order, including the preparation of annual technical investment budgets.

  • Establish and lead a dedicated team for continuous improvement, innovation, and product development.

  • In collaboration with Sales and Operations, define the standard technical specifications of machinery to ensure performance aligned with market expectations and customer needs. Support the simplification of design and assembly processes, and optimize production costs.

  • Design and implement training and upskilling programs for the Technical Office team to maintain and develop company know-how. Promote retention, development, and mentoring plans for talents within the department.

  • Ensure that machinery design complies with local regulations and international standards regarding health, safety, and environmental protection

  • Work closely with the Operations team to industrialize new technical solutions and collaborate with the Customer Service function to define technical support processes provided by the Technical Office.

The Successful Applicant


  • Mechanical Engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in B2B companies producing custom machinery or engineered-to-order systems

  • Strong technical expertise in Project Management, Design to Cost and Design for Manufacturing

  • In-depth knowledge of machine design and industrial processes, with familiarity with the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)

  • Leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate teams, manage stakeholder relations, and foster collaboration

  • Fluency in English and proficient use of Microsoft Office
