Why Lexroom.ai
Shape the Standard: Be part of the team setting the benchmark for legal AI in Europe.
Work with the Best: Collaborate with exceptional colleagues in a culture that values competence, curiosity, and ambition.
Deliver Meaningful Results: Your work will directly influence how legal professionals operate—faster, clearer, and more efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Own your engineers’ growth: hiring, coaching, performance reviews, retention.
Drive predictable delivery: squad formation, capacity planning, execution cadence.
Hold the technical bar: tech debt strategy, architectural coherence across squads, quality standards.
Set and enforce engineering standards: code review quality, CI/CD practices, testing, and operational discipline.
Foster a team culture where feedback flows freely and engineers take ownership.
Partner with the PM to shape priorities—including engineering-driven initiatives like tech debt, reliability, and platform improvements.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years managing engineers (EM, Team Lead with direct reports, or equivalent).
Track record of growing engineers and building high-performing, psychologically safe teams.
Experience co‑owning product decisions with PMs — not just executing a handed‑down backlog.
Solid technical foundations (React + Python preferred) — you don’t code daily, but you earn trust through technical credibility.
Experience in high‑growth environments: hiring pipelines, org transitions, scaling from small to mid‑size teams.
Fluent in Italian and English.
How We Work
Stack: React + TypeScript frontend, Python backend, Google Cloud (Cloud Run), Elasticsearch, Pinecone.
AI‑assisted development: We actively use Claude Code, Cursor, and AI‑powered workflows across the engineering org — you’ll be expected to embrace and evolve these practices with your team.
Ship weekly: Weekly release cycle with Thursday deploys, code freeze on Wednesday.
Squad model: Temporary, focused squads (2–3 devs) that form around a project and dissolve after delivery — you own squad formation and composition.
Quality: ADR process for significant technical decisions, structured incident response, SLA/SLO discipline.
