Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering / Production Manager to lead the development, industrialization, and production of our systems.

This is a key leadership role responsible for bridging engineering and manufacturing, ensuring that products move efficiently from design to production, meeting quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (software, electronics, mechanical, system engineering)
  • Define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with company strategy
  • Supervise system design, development, and validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace/defense standards and internal quality processes

Production & Industrialization

  • Define and implement production processes for multi sensor systems and integrated platforms
  • Drive the industrialization of new products from prototype to serial production
  • Set up and optimize assembly, integration, and testing lines
  • Manage production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization

Operations & Delivery

  • Ensure on-time and on-quality delivery of projects and products
  • Oversee FAT, SAT, and validation processes
  • Manage suppliers and coordinate with procurement for critical components
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across projects

Team & Organizational Development

  • Build and structure engineering and production teams
  • Define processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Mentor team members and develop internal competencies
  • Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, Aerospace, or related field)
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering and/or production environments
  • Proven experience in team leadership and project delivery
  • Strong background in system integration and complex systems
  • Experience in production processes, industrialization, or manufacturing setup
  • Solid understanding of quality standards and engineering processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries
  • Knowledge of electro-optical systems, sensors, or tracking systems
  • Experience with supply chain management and vendor coordination
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD, ISO, or aerospace quality standards
  • Experience in scaling production in a growing company
