Descrizione dell'offerta

Enfinity Global is a purpose-driven company focused on making a positive impact on the planet by helping companies, governments, and individuals transition to a carbon‑free and sustainable economy. As a leading independent power producer, we develop, finance, build, operate, and own renewable energy assets long‑term across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with offices in the USA, Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands, India, and Japan. Our team of over 400 professionals includes seasoned finance experts, project developers, and operators with extensive industry experience across all stages of the project life cycle. We pride ourselves on being creative and innovative solution providers to our customers and partners. Job Description

The Engineering Manager represents the technical foundation of Enfinity’s development activities, playing a critical role in transforming early‑stage opportunities into technically robust, bankable, and construction‑ready projects. The Engineering Manager leads the Development Engineering function and acts as the key technical interface between the Development team and PVI, Enfinity’s external engineering partner. The role ensures that development requirements are effectively translated into clear and comprehensive engineering scopes, securing timely, high‑quality deliverables that align with Enfinity’s standards. Engineering assumptions defined during this phase feed directly into financial models—including CAPEX, P50/P90 estimates, losses, and availability— and lay the groundwork for subsequent pre‑construction design phases. Technical Leadership for Development

Provide engineering support to the Development team from site screening through ready‑to‑build. Deliver preliminary layouts, energy‑yield estimates, grid‑connection feasibility, and single‑line diagrams. Provide technical input for permitting submissions and environmental studies; run constructability assessments and conduct site visits. Review and challenge technical assumptions used in financial models (CAPEX, P50/P90, losses, availability). Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks to ensure projects remain bankable, constructible, and commercially viable. Support project approvals, investments and acquisitions through technical inputs and risk assessments. Nexus with PVI (External Engineering Partner)

Act as the primary engineering interface between Development and PVI. Translate development requirements into clear, prioritised engineering scopes for PVI. Plan and manage PVI’s workload on development‑stage deliverables: schedules, milestones, and quality gates. Review PVI deliverables and ensure they meet Enfinity standards before they reach Development or external stakeholders; elevate scope, quality, or capacity issues to the Head of Engineering. Process, Standards & Handover

Maintain and evolve Enfinity’s development‑stage engineering standards, templates, and design criteria. Ensure consistent handover packages from Development Engineering to Pre‑Construction Engineering. Incorporate field learning into development‑stage engineering processes, design criteria, and technical assumptions. Team and Stakeholder Management

Lead, coach, and grow the internal Development Engineering team. Coordinate with Pre‑Construction, BESS Engineering, Permitting, Grid, and Land teams to ensure technical alignment. Requirements

Degree in Industrial, Electrical or Energy Engineering. 7‑10 years in the renewable energy sector, with strong exposure to PV utility‑scale projects (BESS exposure a plus). Significant experience in development‑stage engineering: layouts, yield, grid connection, feasibility. Experience managing or coordinating external engineering consultants or firms. Previous people‑management experience (small to mid‑size teams). Project management certification is a plus. Proficiency in PVsyst and other design tools valued. Strong technical judgment—knows when development‑stage detail is sufficient and when it is not. Excellent organization and prioritisation. Effective communicator who bridges developers (commercial mindset) and engineers (technical mindset). Solid command of design tools (PVsyst, AutoCAD, GIS) and familiarity with energy modelling. Benefits

Private health insurance. Pension plan. Paid time off. Work from home. Training and development. Performance bonus.
