Engineering Recruiter (Italy – Milan)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level Engineering Recruiter to join our Milan team and take ownership of complex, high-volume recruitment mandates within the outsourcing and staff augmentation space. You'll act as a trusted talent partner to both our clients and candidates, managing full-cycle recruitment for engineering profiles while contributing to the growth of our Italian operations. Location: Milan, Italy (Full-time, in-office)

Contract Type: Permanent Employment

Salary Range : €30.000 - €35.000


What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end recruitment processes for mid-to-senior engineering roles across disciplines including mechanical, civil, industrial, electrical, and project engineering.
  • Proactively source, headhunt, and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate interviews to assess technical competencies, career motivations, and suitability for outsourcing or staff augmentation models.
  • Build and manage a high-quality, continuously evolving pipeline of engineering talent for both immediate and future client needs.
  • Act as a key point of contact for hiring managers and client stakeholders, translating technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
  • Advise clients and internal teams on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and talent availability within the Italian engineering landscape.
  • Contribute to process improvements and recruitment best practices.
  • Support employer branding efforts to position Prime Engineering Italy as an employer of choice in the engineering sector.


What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong track record in engineering, technical, or industrial roles.
  • Proven experience working within an outsourcing, staffing, or staff augmentation company is highly valued.
  • Solid understanding of the Italian engineering talent market and the dynamics of project-based or contract hiring.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of candidate and client experience.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously in a results-driven environment.
  • Fluency in Italian (essential) and professional proficiency in English (required).
