Responsibilities

Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking a highly accomplished professional to supervise the Maintenance staff, order and control supplies, track inventory, analyze data, and prepare effectiveness reports. The selected candidate will manage the maintenance department in the absence of the Director of Engineering or Assistant Director of Engineering, where applicable.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Building Maintenance in trades such as HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license where applicable. Universal Refrigerant certification and AFE (Association of Facility Engineers) Plant Supervisor certification are preferred.

Additional requirements include:

• Ability to assess critical situations, respond effectively, and delegate solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of construction and building trades.
• Ability to supervise, lead, and manage employees.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of computerized preventive maintenance and work order programs.
• Client and customer-focused problem-solving approach.

Pay Range

USD $39.24 - USD $49.04 per hour.
