Environmental Consultant (Categorie Protette – L. 68/99)

ERM Italy – Milan (Hybrid) ERM Italy is looking for a motivated Environmental Consultant belonging to Categorie Protette – L.68/99 to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of technical proposals and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders (colleagues, subcontractors, laboratories, regulatory representatives, tenants, and clients) during project preparation and potential fieldwork.
• Assist in environmental data quality control, interpretation, visualization, and preparation of technical reports.
• Contribute to high‑quality project delivery by supporting Project Managers and meeting expectations related to quality, budget, schedule, and assigned scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an environmental discipline (e.g., earth sciences, environmental sciences, hydrology/hydrogeology, geology, geochemistry, environmental engineering).
• Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of Italian environmental and H&S legislation.
• Belonging to Categorie Protette – L. 68/99 (mandatory).
• Previous experience in environmental consulting is considered an advantage.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and pragmatic, with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative team player able to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently when needed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear technical reports.
• Commitment to health & safety, following established protocols.
• Knowledge of GIS or data management tools is a plus.

Annual salary range: €30,000 - €36,000.
