Estimating Junior Engineer

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Estimating Engineer to join the group. The selected candidate will support cost estimation activities during the bidding, proposal, and project phases, contributing to budget definition.

Working alongside senior professionals, the resource will be involved in the analysis and preparation of cost estimates, collaborating closely with the Proposal, Procurement, and technical teams involved in the bids.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of project cost estimates in compliance with timelines and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Proposal function in estimating services and man-hours, in line with ITB (Instructions to Bidders) documentation.
• Provide support in material cost estimation, interfacing with Procurement and the technical teams assigned to the bid.
• Contribute to the collection and analysis of technical and economic data required for cost estimation.
• Support the preparation of the sales budget and the handover documentation to the execution phase.
• Ensure, under supervision, the correct filing and archiving of estimation documentation.
• Support Change Order Management activities for projects in the execution phase.
• Use dedicated estimating software and spreadsheets.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or related fields).
• Interest in cost estimation, budgeting, and project economic analysis.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong organizational skills, team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, accuracy, analytical skills, collaborative attitude, and willingness to learn.
• A first experience (including internships) in engineering, proposal, or procurement activities will be considered a plus.
