We are seeking an experienced Europe-India Trade Lane Manager with core focus on India-Italy-India trade lane to lead and develop our freight and logistics services between Europe and India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding trade traffic, managing customer relationships, and optimizing operational efficiencies on this key trade lane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow trade volumes between Europe and India specially Italy.
- Leverage their own existing customer database and establish new client relationships to generate business.
- Monitor market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline processes.
- Provide market insights, pricing strategies, and forecasts to support business growth.
- Facilite and drive target client list between both countries and related teams to focus on maximum conversions with core strategy to Monitor-chase-Drive-Quote-Close-Develop
- Maintain excellent customer service and build long-term client partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in managing Europe-India trade lanes especially Italian Lane with international freight forwarding companies operating as market leaders on this trade lanes.
- Strong network and existing customer database in Europe and India.
- Deep market knowledge, including customs regulations, shipping routes, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic initiatives.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Sales Management CRM
- Fluency in English & Italian with knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Hindi ) would be added advantage.
