About the Role

The Events & Experiences Specialist is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering events and experiences within the enterprise events portfolio. Acting as the steward of experiential expression, this role translates approved event strategies and briefs into high-quality, on‑time, and on‑budget execution, ensuring each event delivers against defined business, brand, and audience objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Event Experience & Delivery

  • Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of assigned events and experiences.
  • Own detailed event plans, timelines, and workstream coordination.
  • Manage event logistics, production, and on‑site execution in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure events deliver against agreed scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for stakeholders on assigned events.
  • Set clear expectations around scope, timelines, and decision rights.
  • Provide regular status updates and proactively manage changes or issues.
  • Represent the event team professionally with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional internal partners, including Sales, commercial teams, Digital, IT, security, HSE, and compliance.
  • Ensure information flows clearly and consistently across stakeholders.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Execute events in line with COE standards, playbooks, and operating procedures.
  • Identify delivery risks, issues, or dependencies early and escalate appropriately.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise requirements related to safety, security, compliance, financial controls, approvals, and brand and experience standards.

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage event‑level budgets in partnership with the Event Operations team.
  • Track costs, commitments, and variances for assigned events.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and vendors to support contracting, purchase orders, and on‑site delivery.
  • Support accurate accruals and financial closeout post‑event.

On‑Site Leadership & Post‑Event Review

  • Act as the on‑site event lead (or delegate appropriately) during delivery.
  • Coordinate vendors, agencies, and internal teams during live execution.
  • Resolve issues calmly and decisively in real time.
  • Lead post‑event debriefs and ensure lessons learned are documented and shared.

  • Events delivered on time, on budget, and to standard.
  • Stakeholders experience clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Risks anticipated and managed—not escalated late.
  • Events consistently reflect enterprise brand and experience standards.
  • Delivery teams operate smoothly within the COE framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in events, marketing, communications, project management, or a related field.
  • 6–8+ years of experience delivering corporate events, trade shows, customer or executive events.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi‑workstream events.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Clear, confident communication.
  • Practical problem‑solving and risk awareness.
  • Comfort operating within defined frameworks while remaining agile.
