Description

The Local Outsourcing Officer is responsible for the definition and implementation of a suppliers monitoring framework, in accordance with the guidelines established by the relevant Authorities, to ensure proper management and control of outsourced activities. The Outsourcing Coordination Officer works for VWL (own company) as well as on behalf of VWB GmbH, based on dedicated outsourcing agreements.

Role and duty – core business

  • Ensuring continuous and accurate suppliers monitoring
  • Granting an overview about all critical and non‑critical outsourcing activities
  • Ensuring all the outsourcing activities are managed correctly and in compliance with corporate guidelines
  • Overseeing all outsourced services and managing communication between the various business functions involved
  • Providing a dedicated framework for intercompany contracts and for external suppliers
  • Securing compliance with local supervisory requirements concerning outsourcing, if existing
  • Supporting Country Managers in day‑by‑day activities, including, when required, the preparation of relevant and strategic presentations and drafting of related minutes
  • Ensuring the collection of relevant information relating to the activities of the various Departments and Functions for the Country Managers, for the purpose of planning and coordinating activities
  • Ensuring a proper presidium of VWL Office, including welcoming external visitors, taking care of their wellbeing, planning of Teams’ presence in the Office, updating documentation/registers, and maintaining required documentation
