From the Sunset Hotels & Resorts division, we are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper for METT Milan Torre Velasca , our new Residences & Suites project located in the iconic Torre Velasca , in the heart of Milan.
This role will coordinate and oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all suites, residences, and public areas. The Executive Housekeeper will supervise and guide the housekeeping team, ensuring that all services are delivered in line with METT’s luxury standards, creating an environment of comfort, elegance, and consistency for our guests.
Main responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire Housekeeping department, ensuring impeccable standards in suites, residences, public areas, and laundry operations
- Develop and implement rigorous cleaning and maintenance procedures to uphold and elevate the quality standards in line with METT
- Conduct daily inspections across all areas of the property to ensure consistency and excellence in presentation and higiene
- Oversee the department’s budget, including forecasting, staffing costs, operating supplies, and inventory control
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing housekeeping team
- Ensure a personalized and elevated housekeeping service tailored to the needs of short-stay, long-stay and VIP guests
- Maintain effective and proactive communication with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to guarantee a seamless and comfortable stay for every Guest
- Supervise linen management and laundry to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost control
- Monitor and manage departmental KPIs and take corrective actions when needed
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager in 5* luxury/lifestyle hotels
- Experience in luxury Suites & Residences operations will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in Italian and English is required
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams
- Strong experience in budget management, cost control, and departmental planning
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong passion for detail
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Solid knowledge of PMS systems, housekeeping procedures, and inventory control
- Commitment to upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
