As an Antitrust Expert , you will join the Antitrust, Consumer Protection, State Aid, Foreign Subsidy, and Investments Compliance unit within the Integrated Compliance Department and will be responsible for providing assistance in these areas to the corporate functions of Eni SpA and its subsidiaries globally.

Key activities:

  • Assessment of antitrust compliance risks relating to specific business operations and initiatives, and identification of related mitigation measures, including support in the negotiation and drafting of appropriate contractual clauses
  • Multi-jurisdictional antitrust/merger control in M&A projects involving the Eni group, in the negotiation of relevant contractual provisions as well as in the notification procedures to the competent competition authorities
  • Application of the rules on state aid and foreign subsidies (Foreign Subsidies Regulation)
  • Application of the regulations on foreign direct investments
  • Support and assistance in investigations and proceedings before the competent antitrust authorities
  • Technical contribution to training initiatives and the dissemination of compliance culture
  • Support in the ongoing updating of the Eni Group's antitrust compliance program

Required characteristics:

  • Master's degree in law, economics, political science; other qualifications will be considered based on significant experience in the field
  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in competition law/merger control/corporate law/contract law or international law, preferably at leading international law firms or economic consultancy firms
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language - C1
