On behalf of an FMCG company operating in the beauty, personal care and dermocosmetic categories, we are currently seeking an experienced and strategic-minded
Export Manager
The role will be instrumental in supporting the company’s international expansion, with a strong focus on strengthening its presence within pharmacy and para-pharmacy networks , as well as accelerating growth across digital and online channels in global markets.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the definition and execution of the company’s go-to-market strategy, driving market entry initiatives and consolidating partnerships with structured distributors and key accounts in the dermocosmetic ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
International Expansion & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Define and implement market-entry strategies by country, including pricing architecture, brand positioning, competitive analysis and route-to-market models
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, with particular attention to pharmacy and para-pharmacy channels
- Contribute to the development of scalable international expansion plans, integrating both offline and online distribution models
Partner & Distributor Management
- Develop and strengthen relationships with pharmacy and para-pharmacy chains, buying groups, affiliated networks and specialized distributors within the beauty and dermocosmetic sectors
- Negotiate distribution agreements and commercial terms to ensure sustainable growth, brand visibility and channel alignment
- Support partners in maximizing both sell-in and sell-out performance , including through coordination of promotional and digital initiatives
Sales Execution & Performance Management
- Coordinate international sales activities in line with market dynamics, with a focus on pharmacy retail and e-commerce environments
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (distribution coverage, volumes, profitability, market penetration), providing structured reporting and insights
- Contribute to the development of online sales channels , including collaboration with distributors and partners on digital activation and marketplace strategies
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, industry events and client meetings
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Export Management, International Sales or Business Development
- Strong background in beauty, cosmetics or dermocosmetics , with proven exposure to pharmacy and para-pharmacy distribution channels
- Experience in managing or developing online/e-commerce channels in international markets will be considered a strong plus
- Proven success in brand-driven environments ; experience in private label will be considered only if complemented by solid exposure to branded strategies
- In-depth understanding of international distribution ecosystems, regulatory frameworks and go-to-market strategies
- Strong strategic thinking combined with execution capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Availability to travel internationally
