Job Overview
The Territory Manager will be responsible for sales and demand generation for Solventum's medical device solutions for Advanced Wound Care, focusing on the Negative Pressure Wound Therapy platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop a territory sales plan to prioritize account calls, activities, penetration and usage.
- Manage the entire tender process in close collaboration with the Bid Office.
- Manage the sales cycle from opportunity identification to order execution.
- Analyze sales, market and opportunity data to drive and adjust the sales plan.
- Drive utilization of the Solventum product portfolio according to the planned product mix objective.
- Develop and manage favorable relationships with key decision makers (from physicians to procurement and from top‑management to nurses).
- Support customers for the best therapy pathway (product selection and counselling).
- Conduct product trials and demonstrations.
- Provide counseling on end‑user wound treatment.
- Participate in customer events (congresses, workshops, hospital meetings, etc.).
- Use an evidence‑based approach in sales calls (scientific studies, health economics, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or Clinical is preferred).
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the medical device market.
- Strong knowledge of hospital tender‑driven mechanisms and dynamics.
- Value‑selling skills.
- Good presentation and networking skills.
- Good level of English (spoken and written).
- Flexibility to travel across the assigned territory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce.com a plus).
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without visa sponsorship.
Location & Travel
Remote position based in the Abruzzo region. Travel may include up to 80% domestic travel, and a company vehicle will be provided.
