Role Description

The Intern Buyer supports the Purchasing team in sourcing and procurement activities, working alongside senior buyers and internal stakeholders.

Main Activities

• Support the preparation and management of RFQs
• Collect and analyze supplier quotations and cost data
• Assist in supplier evaluation and sourcing recommendations
• Support the preparation of contracts and purchasing documentation
• Help monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
• Support administrative tasks (purchase orders, reports, presentations)

Learning objectives

• Gain a solid understanding of the end-to-end purchasing and sourcing process, including RFQs, supplier selection, and basic contract management
• Develop analytical skills through cost analysis, supplier comparison, and performance monitoring (cost, quality, delivery)
• Learn how to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and interact with suppliers in an international environment
• Build proficiency in purchasing tools and systems (Excel, SAP) while strengthening professional communication and organizational skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law or similar
• C1 proficiency in English
• Interest in procurement, sourcing and supply chain topics
• Knowledge and interest of automotive products and technologies
• Proactive and results-driven
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
