As Food and Beverage Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Follow the posted opening and closing duties
- Take accurate and complete reservations
- Provide excellent service at all times
- Set and maintain the dining room environment and materials perfectly clean
- Have a good knowledge of menu items to assist guests when needed
- Assist guests and colleagues courteously and efficiently
- Use the guest’s name appropriately and communicate it to restaurant colleagues and managers so they can do the same
- Assist in seating guests
- Support restaurant colleagues in preparing for service
- Communicate important information with colleagues (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, special requests)
- Handle reservations and prepayments for special events, holiday brunches, wine dinners, cooking classes, etc.
- Coordinate set menus for small groups and distribute copies of the event form accordingly
- Maintain menu cleanliness and print menus as needed
- Inform restaurant managers daily about the reservation forecast
- Share information about upcoming events with the Concierge team
- Assist in monitoring all guest needs
- Confirm daily reservations and inform the Chef accordingly
- Record guest preferences
- Check daily preferences of regular guests and update the service list
As Food and Beverage Coordinator, we expect from you:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of the Seltz program is required.
- Good computer skills and strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent grooming and hygiene at all times
- A good level of English is preferred.
