Job Title: F4 Race Engineer
Location: Italy
Contract Type: Full-Time
Travel: Required to all races, tests, and simulator sessions
Start Date: January 2026 (early integration possible for the right candidate)
Compensation

The Company:
A championship-calibre European race team with a long-standing reputation in F4 and higher single-seater series. As the team builds for the 2026 season, they are seeking a proven F4 Race Engineer to lead one of their entries. This is an opportunity to work with some of the most promising young talents in motorsport within a structured and high-performance environment.
The Role:
As the lead engineer for an F4 entry, you’ll be responsible for delivering all aspects of car performance during testing, simulator prep, and race weekends. You’ll work closely with your assigned driver to refine driving style, setup, and racecraft through detailed data analysis and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all engineering activities for your assigned car
• Collaborate with drivers and performance staff to extract pace
• Deliver setup guidance, strategy planning, and post-run analysis
• Analyse data and onboard footage to fine-tune balance and tyre performance
• Coordinate with the mechanical and data team to ensure build quality and reliability
• Maintain clear documentation of setup changes and car performance metrics
• Attend all tests, simulator days, and races throughout the season
Key Skills & Experience:
• Degree in Mechanical, Motorsport, or Automotive Engineering
• Proven experience with a leading F4 team (Italy, Germany, UAE, Spain, etc.)
• Strong foundation in car setup, driver development, and data analysis
• Skilled in using data systems such as Magneti Marelli, Bosch, etc.
• Detail-focused, team-oriented, and proactive in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication skills in English (Italian a plus)
• Full-time availability and commitment to travel
• Italian nationality preferred (but not essential)
