Fashion Wardrobe Assistant

Location: Dubai, UAE (Frequent International Travel Required)

Reports to: Wardrobe Supervisor  

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Private Wardrobe Assistant to join a Private household based in Dubai. Our client is requesting a European speaker with prior experience working in luxury boutiques, high-end fashion retail, or private residences. This position involves managing the Principal’s wardrobe, ensuring the highest standards of garment care, and accompanying the Principal on all domestic and international trips to oversee wardrobe logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wardrobe Management & Organization:

Maintain and organize closets, cupboards, and dressing areas as per the instructions of the Wardrobe Supervisor.

Implement and uphold meticulous systems for categorizing and rotating clothing, shoes, accessories, and seasonal items. o Ensure that all personal belongings are kept in pristine condition and presented to the highest standards at all times.

• Packing & Unpacking:

Prepare detailed packing lists and ensure careful packing and unpacking of all wardrobe items for trips.

Travel with the Principal to manage wardrobe requirements and handle all clothing and accessory arrangements during travel.

• Garment Care:

Supervise and manage laundry processes, ensuring each item is treated according to fabric specifications and care instructions.

Coordinate with external laundry services when needed, ensuring quality control. o Handle delicate garments, including hand-washing, spot cleaning, and fabric specific care.

Oversee ironing, steaming, and preparing outfits to ensure they are impeccable and ready for wear.

• Outfit Presentation & Maintenance:

Maintain daily readiness of outfits as per the Principal’s schedule and preferences.

Ensure that all clothing, shoes, and accessories are properly maintained, repaired, and polished as needed.

Collaborate with the Wardrobe Supervisor to prepare special attire for formal events, photoshoots, or public appearances.

• Inventory & Procurement Support:

Assist in inventory control and monitor garment conditions, alerting the Supervisor of any wear, damage, or replacement needs.

Support in coordinating with boutiques and personal shoppers for wardrobe additions and tailoring.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English is a MUST

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in luxury retail (boutique or high-end clothing shop) or private household wardrobe management.

• Strong knowledge of garment care, including different fabric types, stain removal, and proper storage techniques.

• Proficient in ironing, steaming, folding, and presentation of luxury garments and accessories.

• Willingness to travel extensively and be flexible with working hours.

• Discreet, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Well-organized with excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
