Field Reliability Engineer – Connected Services
This position serves as the central technical contact point for resolving critical connectivity issues across vehicles, plants, and mobile platforms, combining deep system-level analysis with hands‑on debugging of onboard, off‑board, and OTA functions.

Responsibilities
- Investigate, debug, and perform root‑cause analysis on Connected Services issues, providing technical input to engineering and validation teams
- Provide expert back‑up support to commissioning and test teams, ensuring correct setup of offboard systems, onboard platforms, and mobile applications
- Debug fleet and press cars, support major vehicle deliveries in plants and tech centers, and oversee vehicle OTA update activities
- Provide on‑the‑ground technical support during regional vehicle launches to ensure proper functionality of Connected Services
- Stay continuously informed on architectural and technical developments across the end‑to‑end Connected Services solution
Qualifications
- Strong interest in technology, vehicle architecture, and diagnostics, with a hands‑on, curious mindset
- Experience using vehicle data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., DLT Viewer, CANalyzer)
- Understanding of in‑vehicle network protocols (e.g., CAN), data communication standards (e.g., MQTT), and cloud platforms
- Analytical, structured approach to fault isolation, root‑cause analysis, and issue reproduction
- Ability to work independently across workshop, laboratory, and plant environments
