Job Title: Field Sales Engineer

Type: Full time - MUST RESIDE IN ITALY.


Job Description: The primary responsibility will be to develop business for our Green Energy portfolio solutions, on the Wind, Solar and Energy Savings market to attain sales and gross margin goals. Good knowledge of the Wind/Solar technologies and technical constraints. The position has 100% customer account responsibility. The individual is required to promote and sell our products to OEM engineering, maintenance companies, wind and solar field owners. Provide follow-up support and disseminates technical information for specific applications. Conducts product testing in the field, data acquisition, and new product development. Interprets customer applications and works with Engineering and Program Management on providing customer solutions. Support EMEA Rell Sales force to address those specific markets and plan join sales and/or technical visits.


Job Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage Sales development and Market penetration at assigned customers.
  • Ability to promote high end electronic technologies and identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales and profit growth across the assigned territory
  • Discusses, interprets, reviews, and provides technical solutions to customer requirements/applications
  • Co-work with the EMEA sales team to develop unique market strategy to penetrate Renewable energy market sectors.
  • Analyzes customers’ needs, determining modification and changes needed to fulfill customer requirements for our engineered solutions.
  • Plan on site travels to install and/or supports customers performing oursystem solutions (ex: batteries for pitch control )
  • Travel to customers requires 50% of the time
  • Provided post sales technical support/trouble shooting and expertise to service group and customers as required.
  • Keep aware of market changes and trends relating to products in the industry and reports these to Product Managers and superiors.
  • Proactively participate in engineering meetings to meet the needs of customers
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, trade shows and seminars as required and assigned.
  • Prepare and submits all required reports, expenses, projections and budgets in a timely manner.

Working Environment : Regional Office, home office, industrial environment, and direct customer contact.


Qualification Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of technical experience or equivalent experience in Wind Turbine Power Generation. Electrical Engineering degree would be a plus.
  • Ability to climb turbine towers 100+ meters in height approximately 3-10 times per month, or as needed.
  • Competent climber and tower rescue certification.
  • Experience with multiple wind turbine supplier technology is a plus. (i.e. Siemens Gamasa, GE, Nordex, Vestas)
  • Experience with integrated circuits, power supplies, and Basic Programming is a plus(AP1) , with “ability to climb wind towers
  • Must be able to travel 50% regional, intra-EUR(AP2) and case by case International to the Corp office in US
  • Solid communication skills and commitment to continually improve your interpersonal communication aptitude within the company and with customers and suppliers. The ability and genuine interest to develop a thorough knowledge of the products, product applications, market sectors and market price conditions. The desire to learn the necessary sales skills, techniques and methods to become successful
