Field Service Engineer - Digital Technologist

EFI is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Business Unit in Comun Nuovo (BG), Italy.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical support locally and abroad
• On-site technical support
• Technical phone support
• Tradeshow support, including printer setup and calibration, demonstration, and teardown
• End-user training
• Feedback to our R&D team

Job Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in digital and electronic technology for industrial printers
• Two or more years of experience in field engineering positions on digital machines and electronic devices
• Availability for extensive travel at short notice
• Knowledge of inkjet printing technology in water-based ink
• Knowledge of RIP software and color management
• Knowledge of color theory and materials/ chemicals
• Knowledge of textile digital machine processes
• Good communication skills and customer-focused
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Self-motivating personality that can independently manage a large service territory (includes effective management of EFI assets i.e., parts, tools, company information)
• Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows, and Linux operating systems
