FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - ITALY

Location: Terranuova Bracciolini (AR), Italy

Other: Availability to travel in Italy and abroad

Education: Diploma or degree in a technical field (electronics, electrical engineering, energy engineering or similar).

Languages: Fluent Italian, good knowledge of technical English (spoken and written), additional European languages will be considered a plus.

Job Summary And Scope

The candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to customers, partners and distributors for the diagnosis and resolution of problems with photovoltaic inverters and related solutions. He/she will be required to conduct training at customer sites and will be a technical point of reference to ensure service continuity and customer satisfaction.

Activities

• Provide on-site technical assistance
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on photovoltaic inverters and related systems
• Support installers, service partners and customers in commissioning and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with the remote support team for the escalation of complex cases
• Draft technical intervention reports
• Collect technical data to share with R&D and Quality departments for analysis of any recurring issues or product anomalies
• Update and maintain the company knowledge base with standard procedures and solutions

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of photovoltaic systems and inverters
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
• Good familiarity with diagnostic tools and monitoring software
• Proficiency in Office and CRM ticketing systems
